Tom Dean has been a serious Wood Turner and Wood Artist for the last ten years in Prince Edward Island, Canada.  He works with rare, exotic woods as well as driftwood, wood burls and shipwreck woods. According to Tom, there's a story behind every piece of wood and through his Wood Turning skills, he likes to add a final chapter.

Each year Tom Dean's work has been more widely recognized and sought after, especially the increasing numbers of Wood Art pieces he has produced from driftwood, shipwreck woods, wood burls and rare and exotic woods.  He has been a member of the West Prince Arts Council for over five years and has represented PEI as an exhibitor at the Saltscapes trade show in Halifax.
